Pecan Pie
Ingredients
310 ml (1 1/4 cups) pecan halves
3 large eggs
7 ml (1 1/2 tsp) melted butter
250 ml (1 cup) Bee Hive corn syrup
2 ml (1/2 tsp) vanilla
250 ml (1 cup) sugar
15 ml (1 tbsp) flour
Pinch of salt
Directions
Preheat the oven to 450 F.
Arrange pecans in bottom of pastry-lined pie plate.
Beat eggs, add butter, syrup and vanilla. Stir until well blended.
Add sugar, flour and salt and blend in egg mixture. Pour over the nuts and let stand 5 minutes.
Bake 10 minutes at 450 F and 35 minutes 350 F.
